This page explains what information iRestaurant collects, why it is collected and what is done with it. iRestaurant is operated by iSoft.
What we collect
- When you ask for a demo: your name, mobile number and, if you give them, your email address, restaurant name and how many outlets you run.
- When you request an account: the owner's name, the restaurant's name and address, a mobile number and the package you chose.
- When you use the software: the business data you enter — items, orders, purchases, staff and accounts — and a record of each sign-in attempt, including its time and network address.
Why we collect it
Contact details are used to call you back about your enquiry and to support your account. Sign-in records exist so that an account can be protected against repeated failed attempts and so an owner can see who signed in and when. Business data is stored so the software can show it back to you.
Where your business data lives
Each restaurant's business data is held in its own database, not in a shared table alongside other customers. Inside your account, you decide which staff member can open which screen.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information and we do not share it with advertisers. It is shared only where it is needed to run the service — for example, with the hosting provider that operates the servers your database sits on — or where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Business data is kept for as long as your subscription is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards so an account can be restored if you come back. Demo enquiries are kept so we do not contact you twice about the same thing.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete an enquiry you sent us. Write to support@isoft.com or call 01816025846.
